However, what truly transforms a house into a home is the sense of connection and belonging that comes from being part of a thriving community. One of the best ways to experience this is through local community events.

HOA events are a great way to get the community together and build camaraderie with one another. If done properly, it can encourage more interaction and even decrease conflict between homeowners. Deer Valley has been known for hosting some exciting events throughout the years.

A vibrant community with regular events portrays a positive image to outsiders, including potential homebuyers. Events that bring neighbors together and create a lively atmosphere can boost the appeal of the neighborhood, ultimately increasing property values. A well-connected community is also more likely to attract residents who are invested in maintaining the neighborhood’s appeal and quality of life.

The HOA Board asked members to participate in another neighborhood vote to get their opinion on the event budget. 80% were in favor of keeping a budgeted line item for events in the HOA budget. With that, the Board decided to continue with the same budget as the previous year. This will NOT raise HOA dues.

This is a rain or shine event. In the case of severe weather, the event will hold off until the storm passes. If by chance a storm causes the event to cancel, it will be rescheduled for a future date.
