The signs read “No Swimming or Ice Skating or Watercraft Allowed”

Walking on frozen lakes is also prohibited. Such activity can be extremely dangerous and can result in severe injury or even death. Ice thickness can vary significantly in different areas of a lake.

Fishing is still permitted but to Deer Valley residents only. No fishing license required.

The previous sign posts have also been replaced with sturdier ones; keeping the signs in place. US Lawns put the posts 3 feet into the ground.

At Deer Valley, we put safety first. Homeowners must work together to maintain a safe environment for both our families and friends.

Tree Removal https://deervalleyhoa.com/tree-removal/ Sat, 20 Jul 2024 13:23:56 +0000 https://deervalleyhoa.com/?p=1252 Trees offer numerous benefits to communities in terms of aesthetics, property value, and environmental quality. But sometimes it is necessary to remove a tree, either because of extensive storm damage, weakening from pest and diseases, or old age.

A large tree on Valley Brook Trace was removed from the traffic circle; the process was not an easy task. Many questioned the reasoning behind the felling.

“A big portion of the tree was dead and the rest was dying,” said Nathan English, HOA Vice President. “It was the best option due to safety and liability.”

Feedback from the community has sparked several ideas for ways to utilize the area now. Some suggested turning it into a park with either swings, picnic tables, or a basketball court. A few even thought it would be beneficial to just keep it the way it already is – an empty lot.

Nothing has been confirmed yet as to what, when, or if anything at all will be done with the area. As of now, the plan is to keep it low maintenance with only grass and flowers.
