To ensure safety, new notice signs have been placed at all five lakes. The signs read “No Swimming or Ice Skating or Watercraft Allowed”
Walking on frozen lakes is also prohibited. Such activity can be extremely dangerous and can result in severe injury or even death. Ice thickness can vary significantly in different areas of a lake.
Fishing is still permitted but to Deer Valley residents only. No fishing license required.
The previous sign posts have also been replaced with sturdier ones; keeping the signs in place. US Lawns put the posts 3 feet into the ground.
